The Path to Greater Wellness

If you are like most of my clients, you are tired and in pain. You struggle to be the partner, friend, and perhaps, parent that you want to be because the fatigue runs so deep that it takes a Herculean effort to get through the day. You might be taking prescription upon prescription to handle the symptoms, without any idea of what you can do to find and change your underlying cause of your health challenge.

I was there too. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2004. I was a single mom with three young children. Through the next decade, my disease progressed, and I accumulated three more autoimmune diagnoses, while eventually increasing my prescription count to ten. I had to stop working and had to quit graduate school as well. My brain fog made it too hard to retain the information I was learning. In 2015, at the age of 46, I feared I wouldn’t live to see 50. (My father had passed away unexpectedly at age 54, when he had seemingly been healthy.) The doctors had told me that there was nothing I could do to slow my disease process except take my medications. I am so grateful that they were wrong! When my youngest begged me to do everything I could to make sure I wouldn’t leave her yet, it was time to figure some things out. I ignored the doctors and searched for resources. I began to change my diet and meditate and noticed improvements. Through continued researching, learning and experimenting, my health continued to improve.

Today I live a fully energized life, and my only prescription is thyroid hormone. I am running my coaching business, always continuing to learn, and taking care of the six horses on my farm. My relationships are flourishing, as am I. I have found true wellness. I no longer live in fear of leaving my children too soon, and… I made it to 50! It has become my passion to help others take their power back and do the same.
