This week I am at a Mastermind and conference with wellness experts from around the world, and a casual conversation sparked me to ask you:
Do you schedule a break into your day?
I mean, really schedule it. If you show someone your calendar, is there a break (or lunch) scheduled in, every day?

This isn't just a pause; it's a strategic retreat that allows your body and mind to recharge, enhancing your resilience and productivity.

Amidst the pursuit of success, it's essential to remember that true high performance isn't just about the hours you put in; it's about how you harness those hours with intention and care, especially when navigating the complexities of autoimmunity.

Why a Scheduled Break?
In the rhythm of a busy day, it's easy to overlook the body's subtle signals of fatigue. However, for those of us managing autoimmunity, these signals are critical cues. A scheduled break serves as a proactive step to mitigate stress and inflammation, common triggers that can exacerbate autoimmune symptoms.

The Science Behind the Pause
Research underscores the benefits of regular breaks in resetting your stress levels, improving cognitive function, and fostering creativity. This isn't just about resting; it's about strategically enhancing your body's ability to perform at its peak, both mentally and physically.

Crafting Your Break
Your break should be a sacred, non-negotiable time slot in your calendar. Whether it's 15 minutes or an hour, this is your time to step away from all work-related tasks.
Engage in activities that nourish you - a short walk, grounding, a mindfulness meditation, or simply enjoying a meal without the distraction of screens or meetings.

A Personal Invitation
I invite you to join me in this practice. Full disclosure...my scheduled break time fell off of my calendar. I am about to remedy that!
Starting tomorrow, schedule a daily break in your calendar for the next week. Observe the changes in your energy, focus, and overall well-being. This isn't about taking time away from your work; it's about investing in your ability to sustain and enhance your performance. You will likely see your performance, productivity, and creativity increase!

Your journey toward wellness and high achievement is a testament to your strength and dedication.
Remember, it's the moments of pause that often empower us to reach new heights.

I would love to hear what you notice! Happy Scheduling!
