If I ask you if you are grateful, the answer will likely be yes.
But what if I ask you if you have a gratitude practice?
Practicing gratitude is an active process. It is different than simply being a grateful person.
It requires intentional, daily, exercise to enhance your "gratitude muscle".
Why is a gratitude practice so important?
Practicing gratitude can significantly improve health, happiness, and healing... and it doesn't take much time.
It has the highest return on investment of all of the practices we use to improve health.
This is what makes it my favorite!!!
Gratitude has been studied for years and here are some of the scientifically proven benefits: (It would take several pages to include them all here.)
- Reduction in pain
- Improved sleep
- Strengthen immune system
- Lower blood pressure
- Lower the impact of stress on the body
- Extend lifespan
- Increase resilience
- Improve depression and anxiety
- Increase happiness
- Improve relationships
- Make us better humans!
Are you convinced?
Take Action
Write down three things every day that you are grateful for.
That's it!
Simple...right?
You will be amazed at how quickly you will start to feel the positive impact on your life, and your health!
