There are so many ways in which we can take control of our environment to improve our health.
One factor that can impact our health, whether we are aware of it or not, is exposure to EMF's (electromagnetic fields).
Many of us are thoughtful of holding a cell phone to our head (which emit RF-EMF), or carrying it in a pocket, but have you given any thought to the wifi in your house?
And yes! This will be a sleep hack. Stick with me!
When we sleep, our body heals and repairs during the restorative phases (Deep Sleep and REM).
This is why optimizing sleep quality is so important!
While there are conflicting studies regarding the safety of EMF exposure, and varying opinions on just how careful we need to be, it makes sense that protecting our bodies and brains during sleep is a smart move.
One simple, effective, and inexpensive step to take is to shut your wifi off at night.
The trick I have found to be most helpful (for myself as well as my clients) is to get an inexpensive outlet timer and plug your router into that.
This will allow you to reduce the amount of EMF exposure you are getting while you sleep and better support your body in accomplishing the healing it needs to do.
And once you set it up, you don't need to think about it anymore.
I have been amazed at the amount of clients that have actually been able to feel a difference.
They notice that they have more energy upon waking, less brain fog, and simply feel better when they shut their wifi off at night.
Doesn't that sound good!
Take Action
Try it! Get yourself a simple outlet timer and give your body a break while you sleep by having your wifi shut off.
