I hope this email finds you well!
As someone who loves gardening, I wanted to share my passion with you in hopes of inspiring you to experiment with gardening.

I am far from an expert, but each summer we enjoy a bountiful harvest that is nutrient dense and delicious!  As a matter of fact, we seem to expand the garden every year, adding new beds and new fruits and veggies to enjoy.

Why garden?

Gardening is a great form of exercise!
Digging, planting, and weeding can all contribute to increased physical activity, which is essential for maintaining a healthy weight and improving health.

Gardening helps manage stress!
In addition to being a great workout, gardening can also reduce stress levels. Spending time in nature and working with your hands has been shown to lower cortisol levels and improve mood. Gardening can even help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety.

My favorite benefit:  Gardening can improve your diet!
When you grow your own fruits and vegetables, you have access to fresh, organic produce that is free of harmful chemicals and preservatives. It is a great way to save money on organic produce.  Also, we tend to eat more vegetables when we grow them.  It is a fantastic way to get kids to try new veggies.  They love to eat what they grow!

Take Action

Consider growing some of your own food.  You can grow microgreens right on your kitchen counter, vegetables in pots, or create a garden bed.  Pick one thing that might be fun to grow, and get started.

I hope this email has inspired you to consider starting your own garden.

Here's to a healthier, happier you!

For extra credit, hit reply and let me know what you will plant.  If you already have a garden, share what your favorite things are to grow.
