Here in Colorado, parents are gearing up and getting their kids ready to head back to school.
Schedules are about to change again!

It is a great time to remind you to create some "you time" in your new routine.

I remember that in some ways the structure of school days is comforting, while it can also create the challenge of getting it all done.

I invite you to consider what your routine will be.
And even if, like me, you don't have younger children at home, it is another great opportunity to prioritize your self care!

SELF CARE ISN'T SELFISH!
IT IS THE MOST SELFLESS THING YOU CAN DO FOR THOSE AROUND YOU!

Prioritizing your self care will make you:
calmer
more joyful
more patient
more energetic
Simply more fun to be around!

What does self care mean to you?
Is it exercise?
Mindfulness?
Journaling?
Hiking?
Gardening?
Time with friends?

The list is as endless and unique as you are!
We all sometimes need a reminder...so here it is...

Take Action

Take a moment right now and think about your self care routine.  Is there anything lacking or missing?  What will you add into your day, or your week, moving forward?
Where will it go in your schedule?  Plan it out!

For extra credit:  Hit reply and let me know where you will up-level your self care.
