Do you count your steps? Are you using a tracker at all?

Walking is an ideal form of movement.

It can help reduce feelings of stress, reduce inflammation, improve mood, support bone and heart health.

While it is ideal for adults to target 10,000 steps a day, it is important to know how much you are currently walking, and add on slowly from there.

If you are currently using a tracker, start to pay attention to how many steps you are averaging per day.  If you don't have a tracker: no problem!

There are simple ways to add steps to your day!

Park at the farther end of the parking lot when you are out and about.  This can make a big difference.

If you are physically able to take the stairs instead of the elevator, do it!

Walking the dog is another fun-tastic way to get extra steps, and it is a bonus for the dog!

If you sit a lot for work, set a timer and make sure you are getting up to move around throughout the day.

Just adding on a bit every day is the best way to succeed and meet your goals with ease..step by step (pun intended).

Take Action

Choose one of the above approaches to add steps to your day.

Just one at first!

Once you have that down, feel free to incorporate a new approach.

Before you know it, you will be walking more than expected, with ease!
