Where Is Your Phone When You Sleep?

Is your cell phone impacting your sleep quality?

Cell phones emit RF-EMF's (radio frequency electromagnetic fields) which can be disruptive to our bodies in many ways.

Studies have shown that cell phone use before bedtime can reduce the amount of important, restorative REM sleep.

This can lead to feeling unrested, even when sleep quantity is sufficient.

Cell phone use can also decrease melatonin production, which is essential for sleep and optimal long term health.

Am I encouraging you to give up your cell phone? Nope!

But I am urging you to make a change if you sleep with your cell phone next to your bed.

Did you know that even if you sleep with your phone on "do not disturb", it will still be emitting EMF's all night long?

Take Action

If you currently sleep with your phone on your night table, consider moving it further away from your bed and your head.

If you use your phone as an alarm clock, put it on airplane mode before bed.

Your alarm clock will still work, but you will be saving yourself from being bombarded with inflammatory EMF's all night long!

That's it for this week's Take Your Power Back Thursday!
